I'm bipolar, but I take pills, go to my psychiatrist, and reading self-help books. In a self-help books, says what a family member or friend if the person refuses to do treatment. If you are in the vicinity of the person and your relationship problems because of their disease, then all you can do (if they refuse to treat) is to protect it, too. The book shows you that your health makes life difficult, and if we do nothing to improve the situation, you will need it to go. We hope that this will help to recognize how important it is to be sought treatment and help for your illness. It can also help to have information about bipolar setting, where they can access. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Now, my dear, I'm working with a mental illness and I am afraid there is nothing that can be just the person themselves can do something for themselves. I hope that people recognize that they can feel better if only they, with the exception of the help they can offer. Good for you for these questions to your friend.

Nothing. You can not help someone who does not help himself.
